The Potensic D85 Drone is a welcome addition to the under $300 range, delivering some intuitive features and impressive specs for an affordable amount. This model was released fairly recently, but it has already created a big buzz in the industry. Product Features
The drone’s features make it ideal for novice users, and for people who want a drone to take photographs and video footage. The drone can fly at a speed of fifty-two kilometers per hour, thanks to its’ chipset and brushless motors. Nonetheless, if you are inexperienced, it is best to fly the drone at lower speeds initially, because high speed flying can seriously damage the craft – and other things as well potentially. Beginners should practice controlling the drone at first. This only takes a couple of hours practice in open space outdoors.
Similar to other advanced drones, this model can maintain its’ altitude and will not fall crashing into the ground if you release the controller. This feature allows you to take clearer photographs of things too. Your photographs will not be at all blurred. If you want, you can fly the drone in ‘headless mode’, which means it will travel in the direction you specify, regardless of where its’ front side is pointing.

The drone has a distinctive appearance and, with its’ front mounted camera and long legs, it is obviously well made and high quality. The legs protect the camera and enable the craft to land with ease.
The camera can be detached from the mount quickly for replacement, if required. You could opt to mount other types of cameras, like an Apeman Trawo Action Camera, or a GoPro. The drone weighs 1.172 pounds and measures ten by fifteen by ten inches. New drone regulations from the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) do not require crafts of this weight to be registered. The inbuilt camera mount is designed for fixed cameras, so the camera’s viewing angle can not be changed directly.
