The Xiro Xplorer Mini drone is a relatively small, smartphone-controlled selfie drone with a compact, folding design. It weighs 410 grams and comes with a front-mounted 1080p camera that shoots pictures at 30 frames per second (fps), which is the same camera on the Xiro Xplorer V. Moreover, it comes with an in-built GPS system for stabilization. Being a phone drone, it does not come with a controller, meaning you can only fly it via an app on your iOS or Android smartphone. Due to its lightweight design, the drone is more suited for flight at close distances and low altitudes. Despite its limited flying range, the drone currently costs $299 on Amazon, making it significantly more expensive than an entry-level drone. Measuring just 2.2 inches by 12.2 inches by 12.2 inches and weighing 410 grams, the Xiro Xplorer Mini is a relatively small and lightweight drone. However, despite its lightweight design, it weights more than 250 grams, so you need a certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly it. In terms of the color scheme, the drone features a yellow and black design. Because the Xplorer Mini has low ground clearance, you should take off from an even surface to ensure your drone does not tip over as it tries to take off.

The Xiro Xplorer Mini is a folding quadcopter with four arms, each equipped with a motor and a rotor. When closed, the arms sit snugly next to the drone’s fuselage.
